Why some weird fans wanted Terra and Kefka as a couple?

I noticed that there are many fans wanted Kefka as a couple despite of the fact Kefka is the personification of evil while Terra is a pure hearted maiden. They are also mortal enemies as Terra is the main hero while Kefka is the main villain. They also have a disgusting Age gap to boot.

People Shipping Noctis to Prompto makes more sense because they are friends.

In the story they hate each other and Terra killed Kefka.

That didn't stop fans from fantasizing they are lovers instead of enemies. Just look at these fanarts.

Well there are fans who wanted Squall to be with Ultimecia.

and There are also fans who wanted Cloud to be with Sepiroth, The man who killed the woman he loves...

That would be hard to believe that Terra and Kefka could ever be lovers- but anything is possible in Final Fantasy. But Kefka, does try to take advantage of Terra's magic though-but that maniacal laugh would scare anybody away, and he reminds me of the Joker a lot as well.

I think some of the tumblr type of the folks who have weird fantasy tend to have such type of imagination. I remember most of the vilians in FF were drawn as couple by one artist on the deviantart. So it's definitely possible.

There are indeed some weird fans out there who ship characters who are mortal enemies. They just have some weird and sick fantasies.

Let fans have their fantasies. It won't matter if they make a fanart of Sabin falling in love with a Chocobo because it will never be canon. It is just a visual fan fiction. I have seen worst but I just ignore them.

There is a ton of really weird Final Fantasy fans out here. But I guess you can't really blame them, they do have the right to fantasize about whatever they want.

It is just weird for sure if characters who are mortal enemies makes fans want them to fall in love. Makes me think that in a future game, make a love interest a final boss for tragic controversy and satisfy those type of fans.

Yeah That pretty much summarizes tumblr but we might see less of them because Tumblr starts banning lewd fanarts.
