Why play the original if there is already a remake

This September the Pixel remaster of Final Fantasy IV will be coming out. Why should we buy it if Final Fantasy IV already had a 3d remake for 3ds? I mean the remake of Final Fantasy IV is already better than the original and it was so popular that it even have a sequel. What is the point of this remaster? I mean I will never buy a remaster of Final Fantasy VII because the remake is already there to take their place.

If you love the remakes then you need to support the remasters because they help fund the remakes. Not buying the remasters will kill off their chances. You won't have the modern games you enjoy today without the Pixel classics.

Well I am going to buy them because I love the franchise and I dont mind games with Pixelated graphics. The remasters will encourage new players to play and stream the classics. Yes it is not 3d but everything should not be in 3d. You said you love remakers and the success of remasters could be your road to get more remakes. This is Square Enix testing the waterrs.

There are people who prefers the original combat system. Now Final Fantasy felt like a hack and slash game.
