Why might some prefer a certain console for FF?

Well, we do know the Wii and Wii U had different controllers. That would have made playing differently. Also, there might be differences between Xbox and PlayStation. Anyway, the price is another thing. Are there major differences among prices for say, the Xbox vs the Switch version?

I don't see much attraction towards console. But some people do. They are more comfortable with the console than anyone. And so their approach towards the console is lot different than many among us. I guess we learn from our experience.

I agree with you and just like me, I enjoy playing the Final Fantasy on my PS 4 for the controller makes me feel comfortable and ready to win always. It is all about what we prefer when we play the games. There are still others that don't really care much about the console for all they want to do is win always.

I think it all depends on someone's preferences. As for me, I prefer a PC over any other game playing gadgets.

I would say the Nintendo Switch would be my favorite console out there today and other people seem to think the same way as well. The reason being, is that you can play it on TV,or as a handheld game as well. They have only one model of the Nintendo Switch though- but the Xbox and Playstation 4, both have two models out- a cheaper model and a more expensive model as well. I hope in the future that they have lots of Final Fantasy games on Switch though ?

Switch is excellent as a handheld console, but kinda underpowered when used as a "classic" console. Since Switch is already pretty popular and getting 3d party ports/games, FF ports are inevitable IF ( and that's a big if, since IIRC the FFXV director said they were having trouble with porting the game to Switch) they can work around the relatively weak hardware.

Yes that's because lot of people out there don't seem to have the gadgets. That's what I have found out.
