Which Final Fantasy games made you laugh the most?

While watching a video of the FFX laugh scene, I thought about laughter in Final Fantasy, and was wondering which one you found the funniest.

Usually the stories are pretty serious and while there is comedy, it's not as central to the games as Dragon Quest for example (There are skewered bell peppers as enemies in DQ8). That's why when Cloud smiles in FFVII advent children it's a big deal.

For me it's got to be FFXIV. Not only is Tataru adorable she cracks me up because of her seriousness. When Hildibrand's wife gets pissed off and brings a 6feet tall pan to wack him, it's pretty amusing. Plus there are people constantly patting my lala character for no apparent reason and leaving without saying a word XD

Apart from that, FFX-2 had a lot of funny moments too, Paine's one liners for example "Yuna: Gimme a Y! Rikku: Gimme an R! Paine: Gimme a break!"

But one of the best has to be a quest in FFX-2 when you're trying to get directions to somewhere and Rikku tries to help; you have to ignore her advice every single time to get to the destination.

So which ones made you laugh the most? You can be general like "Steiner's antics in FFIX" or specific "Rikku when she went crazy at thunder plains" (FFX).

I think a lot of gaming in the first 4 versions of the FF made me laugh. Some of the time on the graphics. And some of the time on the music. And some of the time in the way game has the progress. So it was fun though.

Final Fantasy 1 has made me laugh the most. The graphics are ridiculous and the sounds are so cheesy lol. I suppose the game was great and innovating for the late 80's, but I first saw it in the year 2000, when I got into video games, and it just was incomparable to later versions.

Yeah, when we look back to the first versions it does make me wanna laugh how different everything was, at the same time I didn't laugh at the time! It just proves how fast gaming changes.

Yeah I agree, there were a lot of funny moments in those games. I don't usually laugh, but they really cracked me up.

lol, I mean, it's not like the game is meant for laughs, but there are entertaining moments, like when I am playing with my kids, and they are so much into it or make certain mistakes, that one can only laugh.

Most of these games are interesting to the point of creating humor. This happens especially when a character makes a foolish mistake.

Final Fantasy VI made me laugh, especially in the scenes where you will have to get to Vector without being caught by the Imperials. There's this scene where the Returner sympathizer attempts to distract the Imperial guards, only for you to blow your cover by going back and the guards notice you.

There's also the scene where you try to get past Vector the old-fashioned way as you try to evade the Sprint Shoes-wearing guards. You can enter the castle foyer, only for you to be caught by an Imperial Guard.

These scenes are funny indeed, and even in an action/fantasy game like Final Fantasy, it's great to see that the developers have this touch of humour that makes the game better.

I think somebody put together some of the funny moments in Final Fantasy over the years, and they made a YouTube video- it's quite entertaining and fun to watch as well. I am not sure, I have seen a lot of these before -but they did make me laugh quite a bit(haha)!

Between Final Fantasy 2 to 5 made me laugh well and also I cannot ommit the farce I experienced with the FF 8 series with Squall. That was the defining moment of my seeing the funny side of the Final Fantasy games.

That's it, but we get to understand that the developers of Final Fantasy were trying it make things better. There is no game that just became the best in a day and that is the scenario that played out on this Final Fantasy 1.

The early stages of the Final Fantasy games from FF 1 to FF 4 are the most funny part I witnessed in the game. The graphics of the game amused me a lot and the appearance of some of the characters.
