Which Final Fantasy game do you think has the best character cast ?

I have to say that so far, FFXV has the best playable character cast. I like the "boy band" theme, although I admit that it bothered me at first. I like that early on we're given some backstory for these characters and shown why they're such good friends. I also like the character progression throughout the story, and especially how some of them change after Noctis disappears. My favorite party members are Noctis and Ignis, though I do also like Gladiolus and Prompto.

Yes, FFXV seems to be the best playable character cast, though some other people may disagree. As far as I am concerned, and of all the series of final fantasy games I have been used to in the last three years, the game FFXV is still the best playable character cast.

FFXV has a great cast, that's obvious, but my favorite one is Noctis. I like the way they develop the background story, but also the way the character is evolving and changing as far as the game moves forward.

For me the best character cast that Final Fantasy ever had is the original cast FF1 where all it started. I love the original characters because they're the reason why I started playing Final Fantasy. Each character is very significant whether they're main character or a villain. I admired their appearance they're very appealing and likable. I remember my friend drew Final Fantasy characters and I was amazed because they're really cute. From then on I was always curious what it's about. If there's no original cast there's no other characters we're going to make that's why they're the best for me. Thanks to them because Final Fantasy would never reach this far, if weren't for the original cast. Original cast rocks.

I agree with you.The first and original casts are still my favorite.Like what you said the reason why I play FF until I started to love it.Like the sayings go nothing beats the original.

For me, ff1 too. Because just like what you said, it is where all started ff1 I still do remember when I played it on playstation portable for the first time, it was really nice. Specially the characters even though the graphics was not to fine that time but still you can see how cool the character is. But the recent series of final fantasy does not have the best character it is just look like much better its because of the quality graphics.

That s the problem of having to compare FF games. All of them seem to have the best character cast and it becomes difficult to make a verdict. But according to me, since I must make a choice here, I have seen FF6 having the best character cast.

I like the characters in FFIX. I also like how the plot of the story is delivered. My favorite character specifically are Vivi and Eiko. They are both fun and adorable not to mention aesthetically awesome characters with flexible abilities as well. I just cant get enough of them.

I do love the Final Fantasy VII mainly because of the storyline and every cast of it especially Cloud Strife. Cloud is the reason why I love Final Fantasy VII. I love the scene where Zack die on Cloud's shoulder and then the scene gets so emotional when Cloud scream with tears. I can't even stop crying at that moment. That's one of the best scenes I've watched on Final Fantasy and I still can't get over with. I do also love the training scene of the three which are Sephiroth, Genesis, and Angeal. Their battle is truly epic. For me, still, nothing beats Final Fantasy VII.

I think sepiroth, zidane, cloud. All of them have a good character development. And the summon system is not bad either. So I'd say in that context. There are plenty of such small characters which are worth playing.

All the Final Fantasy games have some great characters but whats great about these Final Fantasy games, is that they have like 2 or 3 females in each game,which is great for me at least. I would have to say Fang and Yuna are my overall favorite female characters in these Final Fantasy games.

Oh Stella, just seeing her brings back some good memories. It would be hard to rate and I agree that XV is up there but I also like the original cast as a throw back too.

I think FF XV and FFVII are two good games. And they seem to have a good characters all around. So there is not much left to compare. And not much to observe as well. I am just thinking that on that premise it'd be reasonable to play the game such as that.

Final Fantasy VIII characters are for my vote. Especially the main protagonist, Squall Leonheart. His attitude, characteristic, and trait is one I really love. He looks really cool and strong. Add of course his mates too like Zell and Irvine. FFVIII was the first RPG that I fell in love. And right after then, after the long years, It is still the best for me.

I pretty much prefer both Final Fantasy 14 and 15, there isn't much difference in both the character cast of both series. Everything looked almost perfect with the characters of both games. So therefore, they are getting my vote in respect to your question on which Final Fantasy games have the best character cast.

Final Fantasy 15 is one other worst cast next to 12 for me since its a homoerotic sausage fest. 7 have the best diversity and once it got a remake it will blew up any modern cast.

The next best cast would be 10 as it ticks many boxes when it comes to inclusion ,variety and diversity.

Same with me. I just loved the characters in the FF 7. Those are kind of made the series really good. The summons in crisis core. And other games definitely rocked. I'd say people will remember FF7 for years.

It's true that character cast in Final Fantasy 15 is mostly males but that doesn't take away that it's an incredible game series of the FF game. I really enjoyed playing every bit and aspect of the game without feeling pained because it's mostly homoerotic.
