What was your first impression? Did you start playing it? Did you buy one or more of the games?
I first saw the videos of gamers playing FF on youtube and then decided to get into it.
The is that most times, it's our closest friends that are likely to introduce new games to us just like we are introducing them to other games discovery of our own. It goes hand in hand and that's what makes friendship worthwhile.
Our immediate friends and family are the ones that are likely to introduce us to new games which we aren't aware of before existed. I have had some of my university classmates introduce some cool games to me and I did returned the favor by introducing a few of them to playing Final Fantasy game.

This exactly how it was with me in most of the games that I'm playing lately. They are all recommended to me by immediate close friends who are good gamers that hardly let any game slip them by without trying it out. Some can play games like their lives depends on it.
Whenever I hear of a new game the first place I go looking for reviews is youtube and to be honest that is the best place to look for almost the accurate review when you are looking to get into a new game.
Haha, there are plenty people out there who live for the game. Some actually makes a living off games, so they are always on the search for more new games that they can exploit and have a way to gaining from it.

I have never considered trying to look at the prospect of making money off playing games not to consider making a living off it. I don't see how possible it would be for me unless one opens up a game house or store, that would be the only way to make a reasonable amount of money off games in my opinion.
Yes, opening a game store or a game house is one good way to make a good living off games because there is an increased participation of teenagers and some adults in gaming activities, so the game house or store owner is bound to make good money on daily basis.
Maybe if I happen to get older, I would check out the possibility of starting up a game store as a passive income investment and see how efficient it would be in putting extra money into my bank account or pocket. I doubt that there is anyone out there who would say no to making extra money off anything.
I actually think a game house would be a good idea to make some cash.
Good luck with your plans on possibly opening up a game house. The gaming experience gathered already would be an added advantage for you in running the game house. Just put up and fix up your plans well and you will definitely have your gaming house up and running.
