What would you change in FFXIII

Despite enjoying FFXIII, I couldn't help but notice some errors in its storyline and gameplay. Basically, it was a hybrid between FFIII and FFVII. The problem with this game is that when you play it the first few times it meets all your expectations but it gets worse as you continue. You will only experience the fun and thrill till about halfway through the game. Beyond this point, the fighting and player control becomes painfully automatic. It makes up for this by giving a really emotional ending which I found spot on.

There are a few small but relatively noticeable errors in the gameplay.

FFXIII is a very captivating game. If the developers will opt to make slight improvements by removing those slight errors, it will be more interesting to play. It will surpass many video games out there.

I think but if you compare FF13 with games before FF10. You'd find the game is much improved. So I tend to give it benefit of the progress. And yes most of the FF game feel repetitive. And there is not much you can do about it. They are not adding anything new lately.

I do think that it gets a little repetitive, but then again asking for something entirely new would jeopardize what there is so maybe that is tempting fate a little bit. I guess I will just wait and see.

The game play is somewhat repetitive and the path seems linear but the story and the good cut scenes make up for everything. The AI helping you out also is nice in my opinion.

I think it can be difficult to fix the repetitiveness.

I think there are very less things to change too. The way it was designed at that time. I guess it was meant to be like that. I don't think a lot of old games can be remade. It's just not that easy anymore.

Seems like a god consensus around the idea that there will be flaws, and why mess with something that is great. Perfect is great but so is really really great so I guess it is fine to just settle with that.

Honestly, nothing. I love the game so much and I feel like there isn't a lot to change.

The great thing about all these Final Fantasy games, is that you can step up, and start playing any one of these games without playing one of the other ones-because they stand alone in a lot of ways. It does have some really beautiful graphics and music though-but they do say that it has some boring level design-but it looks very fun as far as the visuals go I must say.

What you are saying is true. This is a very interesting game.
Indeed. Some people may find it old and bad since they don't update it a lot, but I like old faschion ;)
