What kind of gaming computer would be the best choice to play it? What would be the most economical? What additions to weaker PCs are needed to enjoy FF?

I think FF 13 onwards modern specs would be required. Anything that can run modern games with 4GB RAM is good to go for final fantasy series. I am assuming better graphics performance though. Actual tested specs would be surely different. And you can check that on the game download page or the box if you have got it that way.

All PC's can handle 1 to 6 since those are like very old games that uses 8 bit snes graphics. 7 to 15 will need higher specs because they are 3d in graphics.

Which game man ? FF7 can run on a potato with a screen, while FFXV requires a modern gaming pc to run smoothly.

4 GB of RAM is not sufficient at all anymore. I believe FFXV requires 8 GB at the minimum, and 16 GB is the recommended spec.

I think you could find a lot of the older Final Fantasy games that you could play on whatever device you have-but the newer ones like Final Fantasy 15, you will need a nice outfit to get a good look on your PC, because it might not run so smoothly. The minimum they say would be a graphics card- like GTX 760, and CPU of i5-2400 or FX-6100 and 8 GB of Ram.

I have tried to play FF 15 on my old laptop only to discover that it is really difficult to do and one other thing that I noticed when I play the mobile version is that it takes a lot of space as well.

So, one thing that I will suggest to many is to play the new series of Final Fantasy on new laptop that got some ram space to be able to run the graphics smoothly.

This is 100% accurate. From Final Fantasy 1 to 6 can play very well on any PC without any issues or hitches but when you are moving higher to 7 up to 15, you would definitely need a system upgrade to enable the game play well.

Most RPG games that have lots of graphics upgrades needs PC with higher RAM and memory space to function well without experiencing loading glitches and hanging. Final Fantasy 15 is the latest version of the game and it requires lots of specs in a PC to run perfectly. If you have ever tried out the mobile version of Final Fantasy 15, you would see how low android specs makes a mess of the game.

True. i double checked. Higher than 8GB. I guess that rues out most of the basic PC gamers. That seems like a lot has been changed for sure.

Most games seem to run pretty well on 8 GB RAM, if you don't have a lot of junk running in the background while you game.
I would say that most gamers now have anywhere from 8 - 16 GB RAM, so it's not really an unreasonable requirement.

I think any pc with a good storage capacity and reasonable speed can handle the games.

True that. Most of the high requirement games are something I have tried to avoid. I guess that's something I have to upgrade for playing some modern games.

There is no need for avoiding unless even the min. requirements are too high for your machine. Games don't have to be played on the highest settings to be fun.

True I can't spend much money on the desktop and console. So I am moving towards the mobile based gaming. It's better that way from what I have learned. It's less expensive too.

I don't know about that. I mean it's your choice, but mobile games are imo greatly inferior compared to what you can play on the consoles and pc.

I'm not really good at that butFinal Fantasy XV is a gorgeous game. The art design, the detail, every square inch of this game is a feast for the eyes -- if you have the right hardware. Unlike its console counterpart, finding a balance between visual quality and performance is a bit of a chore, but we have a few tips that should help you get the most out of the game.

That is true. Phones tend to be a cheaper way of playing the games.

[/QUOTE Is 8GB RAM not too big? You mean I can't play the game on a 3GB RAM?

You just need to check the specs required on the game's website.
I agree the best and easy way to find out about the game's specs is to head over to the FF website and get all the information you need.
