What Final Fantasy Game you want to have a remake

I am excited about the Final Fantasy 7 remake. For many fans of the game 7 is considered to be the best and the most iconic. It is also the first game in the series set in a futuristic world instead of a medieval and magical era.


After Final Fantasy 7, what game you want to be remade?

In My case I want 6 to be remade.A six remake will be amazing because of it's rich story and amazing characters. I want to see it's main character Terra, in 3d.

This game have a very tragic villain in form of Kefka too.

I do not want 10,12 and 13 to have remakes as all they needed are remasters.

I won't mind 8 to have remake too because of Nostalgia but it recently had a remaster.

I think I want to see more of sephiroth type of the characters. And the summon feature seems to be good. So it's something worth playing as well. Not sure how some of the games will be updated in near future but let's see how that goes.

I think it will be in .good place if the following final fantasy games are made. FF2, FF3 and FF4. Slight improvements will make them better, according to me.

Final fantasy 4 already have a remake at 3ds. That remake even manage to have a sequel. It has a Final Fantasy 9 style graphic art style as the characters look like children sized adults.

I guess I wouldn't mind remakes of pre-FF7 games, since those are pretty outdated now. But really, they should focus on making new games.

I am sure Enix can have 2 separate teams for remakes, subsequels and sequels. Aside from Final Fantasy, the other big title of Square enix is Tomb raider. So they are not really going to focus on one game. Final Fantasy 16 will have it's own creative team.

I think one is not good for a remake since IX is like a reimagining of it.

I think Final Fantasy 8 could use some work as far as a remake goes-and I think they focused to much on a love story theme-so I think you could focus more on the sorceress plotline. I see a lot people mention that they would like to see a remake of this game.

1 will definitely not going to have a remake even if it's the first game since the characters don't really have personality as they are empty vessels you need to rename. Also 9 is a reimagining of 1.

Kefka regained popularity with Dissidia and Final Fantasy 14 so 6 must have a remake.

I do wan't 8 to have remake to but it's not on my top priority.

Anyway This is how critics of IGN scored 6 to 9.

FF5 got 8.5 out of 10!!!
FF6 got 9.5 out of 10!!!
FF7 got 9.5 out of 10!!!
FF8 got 7.4 out of 10!!!
FF9 got 9.2 out of 10!!!

I'm completely in support of having Final Fantasy 7 remake because it's such a great series of fantasy game. It's shift from medieval and magical era to futuristic world is the most compelling factor in my desire to have its remake. I still enjoy playing the FF 7 series till date.

It already have a remake though.

Also 7 is not really there first futuristic Final Fantasy. It's actually 6 because they have Mecha and genetic engineering. I am happy for you though because your dreams just came true as 7 finally had a remake.

Despite of Popularity to casuals, 8 is actually hated by hardcore Final fantasy fans and critics. It is less hated than 13 though. I think the only people who loves 13 are people who have it as their first Final Fantasy game.I think a remake of 8 will happen eventually but I have a feeling 6 or 9 will be remaked first. 8 recently have a remaster.

1 and 2 can have a remake for portable and mobile. I think it will be a waste of resources to make them console games because their story is not that rich.

5,6,9 and tactics are great candidate for console release remakes after VII's remake is done.
