What does the FFXV Omen Trailer show?

Hello, Final Fantasy XV Fans!

I've watched the Omen Trailer for Final Fantasy XV before I played the game. But most of the scenes here in this clip weren't in the game and story.

Are these just bad omens or a bad dream that could have happened to Noctis and his friends? Or was this an alternate reality?

What are your thoughts?

I think this short film sets up what's to come in Final Fantasy 15- it predicts a dark future and omen for Noctis' father- King Regis- and it is a catastrophic future that must be avoided ! The film though focuses mostly on Noctis and not his father.
