The Creation of Final Fantasy Art via Computer

I like to create 3D computer art, so I was wondering if others were into stuff like Blender, Poser, Photoshop, Daz Studio etc. and used them to make Final Fantasy art. Anyway, I'm sure this thread could also be a sub-section of the storyline and game making threads, as art is massively important.

Oh, by the way, also does anyone make 2D Final Fantasy art?

I am into chiby art so not really into the realistic replica of the characters. I know some of the artists who have done the art in the FF universe. And they have their art hosted on the deviant art. You may want to explore deviant art if you are into the art for any game for that matter.

I agree that deviant art is a good source of FF fan art. Just be aware that some of the stuff on there is NSFW.

Yes lot of stuff over there is NSFW. And we don't know what was the intention behind creating such art. No offense to artist though. But lot of art is unwanted. And has no canon references.

I might be interested in doing some Final Fantasy drawings or paintings of some of the Final Fantasy characters, like Tifa Lockhart and even get some commissions- though I would have to put a lot more color in my drawings and artwork than this guy !

I like the drawing. I think some of the speed drawing lessons make it look so easy and fun. I wish I could do some of that. But so far not noticed how some artists do it that easily.

That's really good to know that you are keen to make some art on Final Fantasy characters. I'm not really good with graphics for I would have taken the option of making nice arts as well which is pretty good.

I would say that they have become better with the drawing that it is not a big deal for them any longer. I'm looking at a situation where the developers of Final Fantasy will take these arts into consideration.

That is one of the breakthroughs in technology, the ability to create video games from nothing. I am even anticipating for more serious things.
