The bad side of ff15

Hi everyone. I feel the game was too rushed, in that the world is lifeless and unmemorable. Also the summoning and magic system is crap. The combat gets repetitive after a few hours and doesn't really get better or more interesting and the side quests are mind numbing boring.

The "storytelling" is downright awful and little amount of cuteness are poorly detected. To make it even worse you have to watch a terrible movie with pointless and extremely bland characters to understand certain parts of the game.

Everything about Luna's character and her almost non-existent relationship with the main protagonist is absolute garbage. She is by far the worst "heroine" in the series. That's my opinion. What's urs?

Hi Heatman? Fancy meeting you here finally. Anyway even me I feel the game is sexist for not having a woman in the group of main characters.

If it were homophobic wouldn't it have more females and less males? Either way it is just semantics and I think I get the point, but I have never really seen the game in the light before.

I believe that the game producers have an agenda with making the game in such manner, anyways they did still meet up with a good number of players in the FF 15 series of the game.

I think Final Fanasy 15 has it's pro and cons- but it has some good points as well. Some good things about Final Fantasy 15 are things like-it has a good selection of monsters and the road trip is fun !

You are very right about that, I did enjoyed the monster fighting, it's very thrilling getting into a good fight with one and finally killing it. The road trip is somehow relaxing as well.

Hi @Heatman. To be frank i loved the side quests. Many of them involve small, simple tasks; repair cars, heal hunters, find objects and more. The side quests are super awesome. The one i enjoyed the most was the Scrapes of Mystery, which is a series of side quests involving a treasure hunt.

What I dont like about this game?

No playable females

You are stock with 5 characters only. I miss the times when we have at least 8 playable characters.

Driving is annoying specially if you need to stop.

Prompto is annoying as ****, His mouth is like 7-11, It doesn't close.

The developers exaggerated the story in the trailer and we got all pumped up for nothing. The story was weaker compared to the rest of the games and that was the problem otherwise the game was not that bad.

I disagree with almost everything there. The game is most definitely NOT homophobic, and I also disagree with it being sexist. If we included every game that doesn't have a playable female protagonist in the sexist category, the list would be enormously big.

Well put, some of the glitches are soo minor there not even worth talking about.

. Hi @holmes22, personally I found the side quests very boring. If i use the gold standard of open world story telling quests here in the witcher 3, FFXV falls completely flat. The way quest tracking is handled is also atrocious as I cannot see more than one objective at a time on my mini map.

I agree that even though they've spent a lot of time developing this game, I think it's rushed or still not finished. I feel the story is too short. They should've ditched the movies and anime as a separate thing from the game. They should've incorporated them in the main game because it could cause issues to players who didn't even know those media are required to watch before you even start the game.

Hi @EfficientNinja? Did anyone else notice that dungeons often come with no checkpoints or save points, but then feature a tough boss right at the end with the potential to send you back to square one, all progress and experience reset?? Such a bummer!!

The main issue with FF15 is that the standard is really high, so we not only have a high level of comparison terms, but we also can get picky about some details. I agree FF15 could have some better details, but overall is an excellent game.

I didn’t really die in any dungeons in the main story so I didn’t experience getting warped back to square one. That could be an inconvenience but it could also be the type of punishment the game gives when you fail to beat a boss. This might have designed it as a challenge that new gamers should learn from to get better.

I only died from random high-level mobs in the last area and the freaking long floors of the optional dungeons post-story.
