Remasters of Final Fantasy Games

Do you all think they're a good buy? What improvements are on them? Are they more expensive?

The remasters are pretty much the same game with better graphics. They enhanced everything graphical wise except from the NPC's which is a minor detail that you are not suppose to notice. The remasters are actually cheaper especially during holidays.

Yeah, better graphics and usually some cheats are included. Do note, that on PC you won't be able to get the original versions of games ( FFX and FFXII for example ) and you'll be restricted to either playing the remastered version or emulating.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that they also changed the soundtrack in FFX remaster, and not in a good way imo.

I think FF7 remaster and the sequels aren't bad. Also there are some really good changes coming with the android and the other platform games. So the variations are worth playing too. I'd say it's worth investing if you are fan of this franchise.

I think sometimes these remastered Final Fantasy games can be redone for the better-and I have heard that Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age is a good example of this-with the orchestra soundtrack, great visuals and the job system was rebuilt.

I think I like the HD remasters of most of the game. And FF has some really good sequels and the remasters. I guess with time and new stories they will continue to make good remasters and the upgrades. It feels good to see FF7 remastered recently.

The remaster of most Final Fantasy games are exquisite in my opinion because they all came with better graphics and cool looking characters, it gives more playing satisfaction than people thought it would give and generally they are more cheaper when compared to the original FF games.

The remaster of Final Fantasy 7 happens to be my favorite of the Final Fantasy games remaster. The game was tuned up well and everything on it looked perfect. Although I'm not really a fan of the android version of the game. I prefer playing on PC and Playstation.

I think lot of remasters are doing good. And hopefully i guess there will be sequels. The reason being old FF stories are good. And worth making remake and sequels off than the new stories. But that depends on the game company.

That's what they are for. But often times I think reboots are necessary. Because remaster alone is not enough. And we need better content.

I agree reboots and sequels are necessary. But lot of reboots are unwanted. And they kind of kill the way games work out. You can see that final fantasy universe is very big in that case. So they need reboot on regular basis.

Remasters are very good in my opinion because of the better quality graphics they come with. I always have my cousins get involved in playing it especially on weekends because it's their free time to have fun gaming.

The game developers are well aware now that gamers really enjoy the remasters of the Final Fantasy games, so they are exploring and exploiting all corners of the game to make more money.

I think some games deserve remake and the sequels. I think remasters of games below 10 can be cool. But it'd be good if the stories can get extended.
