Release Date Revealed For Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered

A few months back, Square Enix revealed they were working on a remaster of the 2002 Gamecube game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. At the time, the multiplayer action-RPG marked Square's return to a Nintendo machine after their infamous mid-90s breakup. Also, some people were bitter that this wasn't a Final Fantasy X port, but the game has come to be appreciated over time.

Now you'll be able to join your friends (the game has a solo mode too) and fight the miasma all over again on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered is coming this January to your favorite modern console (assuming it doesn't start with X). There will also be a mobile version for iOS and Android.

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 9, 2019) – SQUARE ENIX® today announced that the beloved action-RPG adventure FINAL FANTASY® CRYSTAL CHRONICLES® will return with online multiplayer and other brand new features as FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition for the Nintendo Switch™ system, the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and iOS and Android mobile devices on January 23rd, 2020. A preview version of the game will make its first appearance this week, on the show floor at Tokyo Game Show.

The cooperative action RPG FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES has been completely remastered, with brand-new features that make the experience more enchanting than ever. It's good to see this Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles get updates that include - some updated graphics and sound, also some new voice-overs as well. Also the improved multiplayer is nice, and the remastered edition will be available for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and android.
