Video games can make some people mad, some don't concentrate about their lives, it has made some completely lazy and they can't take of themselves since they can't face reality.
Some religious fundamentalists feel games are like drugs - in that, to them, they are causing people to avoid a harsh world, one they'd have to face if they didn't live in
dreamland. Well, anyway. of course, I disagree with all this. I don't see anything wrong with fantasy - as long as it isn't leading to the abuse of other people or one's self (health).
However, though, the Catholic faith, not saying I am Catholic but just using an example, believes failing to take action is a sin. In other words, a person playing video games all day but not bothering people - is abusing others - because they aren't making a spiritual effort.
Some studies have concluded that video games do not really cause aggressive behavior-like playing 4 hours of Call of Duty, and you might feel pumped up, but you really are not going to go out and mug somebody on the streets. The facts are, that most people that play even the most violent video games, do not become violent in real life after playing-and really it seems like they are taking their aggressions out in the video game-so I do actually see that it could prevent aggression and be a good place to channel your aggression, by playing these games ?
I'd say a better way to take out aggression is by working out and jogging, but I'm not saying playing video games is necessarily bad - only it's not a good way to take out aggression.
