Noctis Guest-Stars In Final Fantasy XIV Today

Prince Noctis, the main character of Final Fantasy XV, decided to put his car in reverse and drive one Roman numeral backwards into Final Fantasy XIV, where he's guest-starring for the next month in the MMO.

You can now find Noctis in the world of Hydaelyn. Complete the quests he introduces and you'll nab some cool stuff....The prerequisite to play these quests is to be at least Level 50 and have the main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon” completed. If you satisfy both these requirements, you can speak with Kipih Jakkya in Ul’dah, which will initiate the first FFXV-related quest.

Los Angeles (April 16th, 2019) – Familiar faces arrive to the world of Hydaelyn today, as FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online launches its long-awaited collaboration with FINAL FANTASY XV.

Beginning today and through May 27, 2019, the collaboration event titled A Nocturne for Heroes will be live. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XV hero Noctis Lucis Caelum will enter the world of Hydaelyn with the Regalia, where he joins the Warrior of Light in battle against magitek infantry, magitek armor, and even the Messenger, Garuda, hailing from Eos.

The event features various FINAL FANTASY XV-themed rewards that FINAL FANTASY XIV Online players can earn through a variety of content:

• The Regalia Mount – Noctis’s car will debut as the first-ever four-person mount in the game.
• Noctis’ Hairstyle and Outfit – Dress up as the hero of FINAL FANTASY XV.
• Noctis Lucis Caelum Triple Triad Card – Use this card in Triple Triad matches across Hydaelyn.
• Orchestrion Rolls – Listen to a number of tracks from FINAL FANTASY XV.

Players who have reached level 50 and completed the main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon” may begin the collaboration content by speaking with Kipih Jakkya in Ul’dah, where she’s seeking to uncover the truth behind some wild rumors for her latest article.

Additionally, the annual Hatching-tide seasonal event is currently underway through April 22, 2019. Players may earn a number of rewards by solving puzzles and locating hidden eggs, including a Spriggan-inspired armor set. Seasonal housing decorations are also available from in-game vendors for the duration of the event.

They gotta have to make use of all the cancelled Final Fantasy XV dlc content. Imagine XV is the sequel but the prequel is still getting more content.

A sequel character appearing on the older game. The tragedy of Final fantasy 15. It has been surpassed by its predecessor. I mean all the assets of the cancelled dlcs are now transferred for 14. I guess multiplayer mmorpgs have longer shelf life than single player jrpgs like 15. I can see FF16 characters making appearances for 14!

He looks older in this one because of the manlier Jaw and facial hair. I guess we are suppose to have this older Noctis as some sort of DLC for XV before the tragic cancellation. I wonder if the Ardyn DLC sold enough... I feel like if that dlc became a hit they would have changed minds from the cancellations that happened. I will be losing sleep for what could have been and what should have been. I feel so betrayed from the broken promises.
