News: World of Final Fantasy Now Available on Steam

WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY NOW AVAILABLE ON STEAM
LOS ANGELES (Nov. 21, 2017) – SQUARE ENIX® invites PC players on a magical journey in WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY™ now available on STEAM®.

Players will follow the journey of Reynn and Lann as they travel to restore their lost memories in this family-friendly adventure, meeting with legendary FINAL FANTASY heroes along the way. Combining classic RPG gameplay mechanics and adorable visuals, players can capture, customize and raise over 200 familiar creatures to assist in combat in a unique stacking active time battle system.

New features for this version include:

• STEAM Trading Cards
• STEAM Achievements
• Full keyboard and controller support
• Extensive list of bonus legendary creatures and characters, including Sephiroth, Balthier, White Chocobo and Glow Moogle.

Those who purchase the game prior to November 28 will receive the Day One Edition, which includes a digital soundtrack sampler featuring enchanting tracks from the game and a stunning wallpaper showcasing legendary FINAL FANTASY heroes and creatures.

Not necessarily. I think SEGA has brought a few titles to STEAM (which weren't ported to PC before) and they were quite satisfied with the sales.

Great news for Final Fantasy lovers of all ages. I think this will make Final Fantasy get more fans and also make their fans to love it more. I'm just hoping that there will be no lagging effect due to steam. Lately I'm experiencing some lag issues due to steam. Also, hoping that the price of this will be worthy, because if this is pricey and the players will not be satisfied, it will be worthless. Looking forward for this one.

I'm glad to see it finally on Steam. Been following their changes over the years from just strictly console only to also embrace PC as well. I'm sure the Steam version will be pretty smooth, all their other ports have been pretty good so far.

This looks cool from where I'm standing, and if done well it's going to be a major increase in the scope of Final Fantasy games. And I do believe it would get more people into the game without any doubt. But just as someone pointed out already, care should be taken with the pricing of the it as it's going to deter lots of people from going into it if it's too costly.

How can I avail final fantasy on steam? how much is it? most of the games that I played here in my pc is connected to steam and because of steam I have a great game experience too. by the way I want to ask if this is now available? This game is literally Pokemon in a Final Fantasy universe. It's really very charming though, after watching a streamer play though it I have no urge to play through it myself, but it was a very good game.
