News: Villain Vayne Joins DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT as First Season Pass Character

New information from Square: we now know who will be the first character to come to people who purchased the Dissidia Season Pass. It's Vayne Carudas Solidor, the antagonist associated with Final Fantasy XII. He won't be playable until the end of April, but when he arrives, his crazy combos will send all foes running.

LOS ANGELES (Mar. 14, 2018) – SQUARE ENIX® announced today that Vayne Carudas Solidor, the charismatic antagonist of FINAL FANTASY® XII, will arrive as the first DLC character in DISSIDIA® FINAL FANTASY NT’s Season Pass at the end of April.

Vayne joins the battle as a powerful Vanguard who can utilize a dizzying number of combos, while also providing his party with an array of buffs with his unique EX Skill, ‘Writ of Conquest’.

DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT is available now for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. The DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Season Pass is also available for players who wish to enhance their experience. It will include six new playable characters, skins, and weapons.

The title is rated T (Teen). Please visit the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website for more information about ratings.

Looks like an interesting update. I wonder what are some of his powers that may make things better. As of now I am sure they added something that is better than FF X3. Hopefully they do something better in this release too.

It would have been cool if Ashe is playable on this game, I mean Vayne killed her husband so this would have been a great revenge fight.

Agree completely. And the thing about FF is that most of the vilians on the FF are good looking and they are kind of badass in terms of the power and looks.

Haha, they are villains just like you pointed out, you shouldn't be expecting them to look all holy and innocent. They are the evil perpetrators in the game, so looking sinister and evily badass should be the least to expect from them.

You should most definitely be scared of Vayne, I just took a look at his fighting skills on Youtube and I gotta say I'm more than impressed. He is a beast!

I'm definitely going to be making plans on how to deal with him because I do believe it's not going to be an easy task getting him down. I will look for a few tricks to get him off the way.

Of the more intimidating looking characters I would have to say he is up there. That said though I agree that you cannot really expect much different and can't be phased by that, but easier said than done perhaps.

I think that would be a great idea as well, I'm the of gamer that enjoys outside gaming bets. It's definitely going to be a fun thing betting on or against Vanye winning or losing. What do you think about that?

I'm a fan of Vanye already because it's pretty obvious he is going to be one hell of an opponent who wouldn't be easy to be taken care of.

Going against Vanye head to head should be taken very seriously because he is one strong opponent. I have seen some of his fighting moves in YouTube video clip and they are quite frightening. If one doesn't up his game, Vanye would finish such player off with ease.
