LOS ANGELES (Dec. 11, 2017) – This past weekend, fans of FINAL FANTASY® BRAVE EXVIUS® gathered at The Wiltern Theater for the grand finale of the FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS Fan Festa world tour. During the celebrations, producers Kei Hirono and Hiroki Fujimoto treated attendees to a number of thrilling announcements of upcoming content, including the long-awaited arrival of Cloud as a playable hero. Details of the new content include:

  • New Unit – Cloud: Beginning December 15th, players can obtain the FINAL FANTASY VII™ hero via Featured and Rare Summons. A FINAL FANTASY VII themed in-game event, “Destroy the Reactor,” will coincide with the introduction of Cloud, from which players can obtain new items and equipment.

  • New Holiday Characters: Three new holiday-themed characters—Kryla, Christine, and Carrie—will make an appearance this holiday season, and will be joined by last year’s holiday units, White Knight Noel and Santa Rosalia, in the latter half of the promotion. Holiday characters will only be available for a limited time and may only be obtained through the holiday Featured Summon.

Cloud have always been my favorite character in Final Fantasy VII, even though I love Zack as well but the character of Cloud gave me everything I craved for in him. Getting the chance to journey to Midgar with Cloud is definitely going to be fun.

I hate how they keep introducing new characters and then claim that they will only be available for a limited period.

It is going to be a lot of fun taking on Glacial, who awaits those seeking a challenge in the Chamber of the Fallen.

Seems to happening with a lot of other games too so maybe it is just a trend or something similar, but I am with you I do not really like it and it almost seems counterproductive, but I guess we shall see.

If SE decide's to introduce other characters, then those characters should not be limited in terms of how long you can acquire them.

I hate it too but they have to do this if they want to make real money. Most of us will rush to claim those limited characters just because you've got a limited chance of actually acquiring them.

I have to admit, that is a really clever way to make money. It is a great strategy if I do say so myself.
