LOS ANGELES (Nov. 1, 2017) – Today’s release of FINAL FANTASY® DIMENSIONS II™ delivers reimagined JRPG elements to a modern audience who enjoy their adventures on Android and iOS devices.

Players join heroes Morrow and Aemo as they embark on a journey across multiple worlds in the past, present, and future. Classic turn-based battles will lead players through a nostalgic RPG experience filled with a wide cast of characters who will help shape a deep and engaging story spanning multiple worlds.

Developed by veteran SQUARE ENIX® game director, Takashi Tokita (FINAL FANTASY IV, CHRONO TRIGGER®), FINAL FANTASY DIMENSIONS II puts a fresh twist on character advancement with the Signet Stone system.

These powerful items can summon many well-known Eidolons featured throughout the history of the FINAL FANTASY series, as well as teach characters new abilities. Players can obtain and evolve over 300 Signet Stones, customizing each hero with powerful magic and skills to help best monstrous foes in battles.

It is such a great news to hear about release of final fantasy. Final fantasy will be more enjoyable in its new mobile version. The people who don't have any console or PC may easily enjoy final fantasy on their mobile phones.

This sounds great. I really wish that the mobile version comes out equally good. My experience with playing games on tablets is not good so I really want to test this and develop a second opinion.

Another nice addition to the growing numbers of Final Fantasy game titles this time on mobile platform. Will definitely add this one on my wish list and perhaps be able to have a copy soon.

As much as I prefer playing FF on Play Station and PC, this mobile version looks promising. I am definitely into the picture quality, and I have a feeling it's going to be a good adventure with FF Dimensions II. My only concern would be, is the game quality constant for all mobile devices? In my experience, a game may have really great graphics when you play with a phone that has a small screen. Those who download the same game but with a phone that has a larger-sized screen may find the game very low quality e.g tabs.

This would be a bit of a jump for me to start using a mobile, but I do like the idea and the availability. Maybe in the near future it will be a little more easy for me to give it a try, but I would probably need a new phone too.

Thank you for the informative update. The move has opened opportunities for new players because of convenience. I am sure more people will become FF fans.

In fact, in less than a week now, I have seen three of my friends being interested in final fantasy games. I told them the good news. They say they a least have somewhere to begin. Most of them have smart phones but they lack a PC. Therefore, the introduction of the games to mobile devices have attracted many.

I think most people like this game quite a bit-Final Fantasy Dimensions 2, and it also seems like great fun when you are out and about,to be able to play it on a mobile device- or even if you are around the house. They do say that a lot of the younger folk like to play their games on a tablet or phone these days. The parent probably has more of the mobile gear sitting around the house-so thats probably the main reason for more of these shifts from the other platforms.

This reminds me of old days where turn based game and the solo play was dominant. It does add that vintage feel to the game. It looks like Android gaming is fun again. It looks like good to introduce new generation to this game format though. I'd surely pass this along.

Sounds interesting, and I'm liking the art style. But the reviews on the google play store page aren't great. Guess I'll have to look it up on YouTube.

Is that so? I'm pretty disheartened to read this. I had been very busy lately so could not check the further details. I was very excited about the news. But, it seems that things are not that good. What do the maximum people say about this?

It is currently rated at 3.5 (out of 5) stars on google play store. At first glance that's an above average score, but many people rated it at only 1 star. Some people say it's not worth the full price, and many others that it feels like a f2p game.

I check it in playstore (for iOS) and no ratings and review yet. Usually, I am checking the ratings first before buying it. By the way, it costs 749 Php only. I think this is worth giving a shot. It requires iOS 7.0 or later and it is available in English and Japanese language.

It's a great news that now we can enjoy Final Fantasy on our mobile. Now we can play it anywhere and it's more handy. I think more people will play this now especially more people have smart phones than personal computer. I hope it will not disappoint us.

I guess, this is a good news to all Final Fantasy fans out there. Now that it is available on mobile phones, playing will be a lot more convenient and enjoyable. Hopefully many people can enjoy the game now. Smart phones are more handy than personal computers. Making this game available on mobile phones allows more opportunities for those who are no so familiar of the game yet, or are just starting to play the game. And for those who are already advance in playing the game, I hope they will not be disappointed in this new release. For sure there would be more improvements in the game in the coming days, especially that it is already on mobile phones. Enjoy gamers!

A new Final Fantasy game! I am glad to see that there is a growing selection of Final Fantasy games for mobile devices. At the price point of fifteen dollars, this new Final Fantasy game is a bit expensive. I like the fact that buying the game at this price will eliminate micro-transactions but I would have like to see the game be a slightly more affordable. I have watched the trailer for Final Fantasy Dimensions II and in the trailer, there was a lot of artwork shown. It looks like Square Enix is proud of their Archive mode, which unlocks game design illustrations once you beat the game. As someone who enjoys drawing, this makes Final Fantasy Dimensions II very appealing. Also, after watching the trailer, I can tell that the game has an old-school RPG style graphics with turn-based gameplay. It brings back a lot of memories of the older Final Fantasy games! I just might give this game a try!
