Which do you prefer? Myself, I won't speak for FF, but if there is a non-FF game I really want - and it just came out, I might be tempted to buy the new. On the other hand, though, money constraints might make me wait.
I prefer my game to be played first by me, then I can resell to others that fancy playing an already used game. It's a lot more fun when it's still new.
Why would I bother myself with getting a used game when I can possibly and easily get a new one for myself?
Actually, the used/new are the same and stores won't sell CD-roms with scratches. However, though, there does seem to be a fascination with new, even though there is no real difference.

Some might simply want to avoid the expense, especially when, as noted, the new and used are practically the same. That also might even be the case when the used is readily available.

When you consider the cost of getting the game new, you will realize that there is more to playing it new. I would always prefer getting the used one for there is no much importance placed on playing the new one than the used one. It is almost the same as long as you get a better one.
I think new stuff is better off....
These days I don't mind if the game pack is used or the new. It just does not matter much. What matters is the game is playable. And that's why you should be making use of either way.
I haven't bought a used game for quite some time. Is it even possible to do so anymore, considering that most games are now tied to player accounts ?

And another part we have systems like steam these days. And that makes it a bit easier for us to make use of the old or new games. As the games stay in cloud.Well then I can agree with you on this one, in as much as it doesn't matter if the game is new or used, what matters the most is if the game is playable and enjoyable and if the answer is yes, then it's definitely worth playing.

This is another part of game development that I so much loved, making the steam version gives one the opportunity to have the game anytime one feels and it would be like a new one because of being in cloud.
