Do they exist? Are they planned? Do you think they would be a good idea? Finally, how would they go about making them? I mean, would they have real actors, 3D actors, or some hybrid?

They had a Final Fantasy movie that came out in 2001, and it was made by Square Pictures- a movie company that was formed by the Final Fantasy franchise, but they went busted making this film. The movie was called Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within, and was a computer-animated science fiction film-it did have some famous voices for the characters though- like Alex Baldwin, Donald Sutherland,James Woods and Steve Buscemi.

I think there does not seem to be any TV show from what I have seen so far. But there are some of the final fantasy fan films or art. Also there seems to be official movies in the final fantasy movie line there. So it's good enough on that part.

There was a movie mentioned above, Final Fantasy Unlimited anime series that didn't go very far, FF7 : Advent Children CGI movie, and FFXV : Kingsglaive - again, a CGI movie. None of the above movies/series had positive reviews, AFAIK.
Most likely, if they were to create another one they would go for CGI again.

I loved Advent children because it has actual Final Fantasy characters on it. It is like a sequel of Final Fantasy 7. The biggest achievement of Spirits Within, Aki Ross if the first Fictional CGI character to make FHM's 100 sexiest women. Square Enix even let her pose in a bikini.

FF7 : Advent Children turned out to be lot more success. And people remember the FF based on that. You can see that very few in the series have managed to reach that much popularity. And you can easily find that some of the new games don't have that much popularity either. I wish they could have extended FF7 in completely different game.

While Advent children was somewhat better received than the other movies, it still got mixed reviews apparently. It was mostly the visual quality that was praised, with many complaining that the plot was confusing to those who didn't play FF 7, which as far as I'm concerned isn't a legitimate complaint, since 99 % of people who even wanted to watch the movie were hardcore fans anyway.

I think FF7 has a good story. And it attracted more fans towards FF than any other game in the series. That's one more reasons why it was remade in HD. And I am sure they may have plans for the future sequels too.

Aki Ross should be in Dissisia, I know her movie is not that popular but she still managed to give Square Enix the mainstream recognition. Maybe if they put her in Dissidia, she will be in FHM 100 sexiest women list again.

Yeah, I see lots of videos about the FF games online. They are also as entertaining as the games themselves.

Most of what is on the YouTube is mostly the walkthrough and game play nights. I guess those are overly used video formats. I hope people do something new with content now.
