Mistakes they did in XV you do not want to be repeated in the next sequel

If we will have another sequel, I hope it is a complete finished game because promising us DLC and breaking that promise really made millions of fans salty. I am still triggered until now that they will quit on us.

The characters are way underdeveloped, Usually when we play RPGs the party members have their story arcs and we can see their growth as a person as a character as game progresses. I never felt that much on this one. I guess the developers are too busy with developing an open world over fleshed out characters.

Quick time events should be lessened. I know it is seen as a cool thing during the mid 2000's but button mashing to escape death is not really fun.

They should just make the game and don't give us promises of dlcs that will never happen. Choose a director with mutual creativity with Square enix so no one will quit and no one will get fired. That is the best way to finish a full game. We need a fully committed director who shares the same vision with SE so there won't be a tension the game will be developed faster without any drama.

A complete game is what everybody want. Also do not promise us dlc if they will just cancel it.

Yes and if they promise dlcs, they have to make sure it will deliver. They should stop making promises that they cannot deliver. Also the director should definitely have the same vision with Square Enix so there won't be arguments that will lead to firings and resignations. I am open to any direction they wanted.

An All male cast! I want to have playable females again. I also don't want all female cast neither. I like it when teams are coed. I want to see boys and girls together. I like the diversity and dynamics of the team that way. X-2 and XV are my least favorite for focusing on one gender only when it comes to playable characters.

Final Fantasy is suppose to be a game about magic but in XV we have Alchemy grenades instead. It felt more like an action game than a magic centric RPG. I want to see more magic in the sequel and less technology and action stuff. Also I hope the next game will never experience any form of cancellation. I enjoyed the Ardyn dlc and I am disappointed there will be nothing after it because of the cancellations.
