OMG I am so obsessed with both English and Japanese versions of this song because Angela Aki sang with real emotions. Eyes On Me, Melodies of life, Suteki Da Ne,The Promise,Thousand words and Aria whatever are so overrated songs. Kiss me Goodbye is the best.

The theme of Final Fantasy 12 is such a sad tear jerker full of heartbreaks and that makes wish Ashe is more than a focal character. She should have been the main guy because Vaan and Penelo boring geeks. Song is so much fitting with Ashe's story since she is a grieving widow who lost her beloved husband.

Angela Aki is Japanese american who have English as her first language so her singing in English sounded more natural for me because it is her first language. So yeah I prefer the English version because the singer is singing on first language making the experience more genuine for me.
