Is this able to compete with the other Battle Royales?

We all know this game existed because they want to cash in with the popularity of Fornite and other BR games. Do you think this game will be popular enough to have an active community for years? I mean the game looks rushed and it is a hodgepodge of recycled assets from Final Fantasy VII remake and Final Fantasy 14. They might as well get assets from Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy 13 and 15 as well.

Whatever this game earns financially could help fund games we actually enjoy like remakes of classics so I support every final fantasy game released.

We might get skins of the characters we wanted. We know many people will want to play as Cloud,Aerith, Tifa, Barret, etc.

We are not playing as Final fantasy characters but original characters we will create ourselves. So there will be no attachments. It is also too serious and the most popular Battle Royales right now like Fortnite have some quirkiness and comedy to make it appeal to a younger crowd. The characters also have the generic Final Fantasy NPC template so they are lacking in charm. I know it is just a brainless battle royale where we will kill each other but I don't feel hype with this game.

I think aside from custom characters, We should have the real Final Fantasy characters as playable characters. Other Square Enix characters like Aya Brea should be playable too. We need some kind of character roster for people who don't like custom characters.

The Final Fantasy name is mainstream enough to pull an audience. They just need to make this game addictive and fun to play so people will stay.

It is obviously a cashgrub that uses reused assets but I do believe it will be successful enough to have a community.

I love Fortnite! so this game is going to be right up my alley! I will definitely play this because I am also a Final Fantasy fanatic.

I heard this game is only for mobile so I dont think it can be big as fortnite. That is kind of disappointing if you as me.

This sounds like a hard pass with me, I will stick with Final Fantasy VII. I hate multiplayer games. It is not my cup of tea.

It will do decently but it will not be as popular as Fortnite. Fortnite have a broader appeal with their crossover characters and aggressive updates. They need to market this game outside Final Fantasy fans to make it half as successful.

Do not underestimate the Final Fantasy community. People still play Final Fantasy 11 and 14 online until now.

Fortnite is Fortnite but This game is not a failure but it won't be as big as fortnite.

The Final Fantasy name will be enough to make this last long as an online game but it won't be as big as the other Battle Royales with mainstream guest characters.

I am already having a hard time to get online opponents and teammates so this game is dying.

It kind of failed, The servers are mostly empty and its hard to make some match making.
