Is Lightning Lesbian or Asexual?

She seemed to be not interested with guys. Some say she is just way too dedicated taking care of her sister and doing her job as a warrior that is why she doesn't have love interests. Most of her affection goes to her Sister Serah.

The First Final Fantasy female Lead is Terra of Final Fantasy 6 and she have hints of flirtation with Guys. The game also implied she have feelings for Locke but he is in love with someone else.

She seemed to be warmer to ladies and she is usually rude to guys. The only Guy she is kind of warmed to is Hope and Hope treats her more like a mother or a big sister.

Her Sister Serah is obviously straight, she is like the complete opposite of Lightning.

Vanille and Fang also screams lesbians to me. I think they are a couple.

I wouldn't categorize her as a lesbian simply because she is warm to her sister. Her sister is her blood and she is bound to have strong affection towards her. On the other hand in saying is not warm to guys, you don't really expect someone of her character to just be throwing herself at any guy that comes her way.

The reason why I'm of the opinion that she might not be a lesbian is because from my experience in real life not all women who are tomboyish as you put it are into lesbianism in reality. I've quite a few female friends who have tomboy character and attitude but they aren't lesbians. This is why I try inferring it to her in the game Final Fantasy that she might not be a lesbian even if she has tomboy character.

So it's obvious that she wanted to live and be left alone by both male and female human counterpart. Being with her cat pets is more comfortable and convenient for her. There is nothing wrong with that in my opinion.

Lightning is one the most depressed characters ever when it comes to Final fantasy and socializing has never been one of her strongest virtues (for lack of a better word)I mesn she's nowhere to be seen.

Yeah they are definitely shagging. Fang did try flirting with Lightning but Lightning does not respond. Lightning is too asexual. Serah is the one to continue the family bloodline. Lightning will die alone but happy I guess.

It would be pretty difficult to decide by just playing the games simply as a result that the developers are bent on creating storyline that intrigue our interests and giving us what to talk about. I would assume that it is just the love she has got for her sister.

Lightning's sexually is up the player's interpretation because its never denied nor confirmed. Most of the fanbase thinks she is kind of bordering to the rainbow spectrum, Square decided to be mysterious about it so it won't offend the conservative countries.

The hints of gayness is just fan service for the male players. In Lightning returns there are some hints but it's not in your face.

Most people don't care about that. That is why I hate some devs forcing certain genders and/or sexualities in games or situations where they don't fit, just for political correctness. Keep that stuff out of our games.

She doesnt like men though, She never flirted with them. She is mean to most men except from Hope.

Maybe she is past the mid 40s and so she has passed that attraction vibe and now like asexual. So she does not seem like lesbian based on the vibes we get in the game. I guess definitely asexual or mid age or beyond. That could be one case.
