Is it just me but this game is too similar to 7?

Lightning is just a female version of Cloud. The beginning of both games is way similar to Final Fantasy VII too. The combat system of both games are not the same but they have similar core mechanics. Both games have futuristic worlds too. The only difference I can say is Cloud a much better person than Lightning.

13 is an anniversary game so that is why it has tributes to the past games. In the end Lightning still managed to have her own narrative and story. She is more than a female Cloud like most haters accused her of.

It is funny that some kids who have this as their first game thinks VII remake is a rip off of this one.
