I can still remember buying FFXI for my PS2, I bought it at midnight release (in 2004) and I got home and installed the hard drive only to find out I had to install the game LOL. :D But once I got the game installed it was a magical experience. I was on my PS2 playing an MMORPG with PC players. I also remember going to the computer store and buying a 15ft USB cable to connect my keyboard to my PS2 so I could play on the couch LOL. :D I play the game on my PS2 off and on until I bought an Xbox 360 which was around 2 years.

I did played the on PS2 during during my secondary school days, although it wasn't my own PS2 that I played at the time, it was my best friends own, what I had then was PS1. I later got my PS2 when I was about entering into the University and I did enjoy playing Final Fantasy XI and XII on the game. It's was a wonderful experience to get to play the game in the comfort of my own house without needing to visit my friend to enjoy the game.

But now I rarely go to my PS2, as I have dropped it for my kid brother, now I'm more focused with playing on my PS4, that game console is the bomb. It offers a lot more than any other PS game console I have ever played. Sadly I haven't played on Xbox 360, so I don't have any experiences from it but sooner or later I'm going to have a feel of it.

Yes I played Final Fantasy 10 with my PS2, it's was a good experience which I had with the. At first, I played it at my friend's place where I really enjoyed the game and then I decided to get the game for myself, in order not to be relying on when I visit my friend before I could enjoy the game.

Oh yeah this was one of the ones I was most excited to play on. Of course each time a new system comes out it is a similar feeling, and it usually pays off too, as this one did.

Back when PS2 was still a thing, it was a giant of its own caliber. Being the gamer that I am, I couldn't miss playing XI on Play Station 2. The mechanics and graphics were not as good, and I experienced some game lags and static but overall, it was a nice experience. I don't know if you guys felt the same way. Did you experience some problems too?

Yeah, that was a great console. I would argue that the visual upgrade that we got with PS2 ( in comparison to PS1 of course ) is much greater than what we've got getting from PS2 to PS4. PS1 was just too weak to draw the number of polygons necessary to achieve anything close to photo realistic graphics. Those early 3D graphics were rough ( but they did look awesome at the time ).

Yeah, I have played it on PS2, but not many times. Most of the times I have been using a PC.

Playing using Playstation has been my favorite gaming device. I have tried using PC to play as well but PS console happens to be more convenient for me.

I think I definitely agree with this and it was a big part of why it was so great on the PS2 and probably why i continue to prefer to play on the PS, although that is changing as well. Makes me wonder if we can see that type of jump again.

I always enjoyed playing on any Playstation console more because it's the gaming gadget that is more comfortable for me. This is probably because I started out almost all my games on Playstation console, so I'm quite taken by playoffs on it.

That is very unlikely, sadly. Tech advancement has slowed greatly in the last few years, and Moore's law is coming to an end. It was much easier and cheaper to advance the tech in the ps1 - ps2 era.

I sold my copy after realizing online gaming is not for the quality of internet connection I am having. I am also upset that it is an MMRPG, I am more of a single player offline person. I heard though it is one of the highest profiting Final Fantasy games but no one can play it anymore because the servers are closed.

If you have a poor internet connection, there is no way you would be able to enjoy playing online Final Fantasy games because it's always going to be quitting the game when you are in the process of gaming or it would even refuse to load or connect to the game server.

PS 2 is a long dead system, so I'm honestly surprised the servers even lasted this long ( they've been shut down at the end of 2016, I think ).

PS 2 is actually very old, I can agree to that without any objection because if my memory serves me well, I think it was during my secondary school that it was very much in trend but now, I really haven't seen anyone still playing on the game console anymore.

I played it on PC before the ps2 version came out. My brother played it on the ps2. We played together and it was all right.

I remember though, when the ps2 version was released how we all cringed at all the new players who played on ps2 for being bad. But they weren't, they were just new and we were veterans.
