I really like playing FF6 but I have never tried it on phone. Is this game available on phone? Has anyone played it there and what is the experience if so?

I have played the Android version of the game. And I kind of like those versions. Though I have not used the emulators on Android for playing the console version of the images. But yeah that would be fun too on tablets if that works out.

I haven't played Final Fantasy 6 on phone, I never actually checked to know if it's available in phone version but I definitely believe it would be. Maybe I would check out if it's so after this post.

But I have tried Final Fantasy XV on phone, and currently it's still in my mobile device. I normally play it once in a while whenever I can't be with my Playstation console.

I have also tried the android version of some of the final fantasy games, but I find it dissatisfied since the screen is so small compare when you played it through a computer. Although it is already nice since you can play the games whenever you are not in a position to use a computer especially when you are travelling. It is a good help and a sort of additional choice for the gamer to choose upon.

I noticed there are many FF on play store but I haven't tried all of them.

I would like to know if the mobile versions you tried require data to play.

I am slowly, and I mean slowly, getting more and more used to using my phone to play games, and truthfully FF makes it a little more enjoyable. It is still confusing and difficult at times but the games are increasingly impressive, which helps.

I don't play any games on my phone, the ff game much more enjoyable to play on the big screen. You will much more appreciate the graphics if you going to play it on the big screen.

I would like to try playing this game-Final Fantasy 6 on a mobile type of android device-including the phone because you could take it with you, on the go and play it while you have time. I think mobile gaming is going overtake the console gaming device in the future it seems, so it is interesting to see this platform for gaming grow a lot !

I have seen an app of FF VI for the iPhone, but I will have to pass on this one. It's not like I dislike the FF series on mobile phones, but it has more to do with reasons of nostalgia. I prefer playing the FF series on the consoles.

It's like, your playing with freedom in phone because we have it in our pocket most of the time but for me, it is more enjoyable when you play in its real platform. More optimized and no lags and bugs.

It's great since there is a bug at a certain part that I will not spoil, which makes you have to reset your game.

I don't own an iPhone but I know some people in my circle who do. And played it and seen them playing through that. I don't like iOS platform to be honest. It's most expensive phone to own and gaming on such phone is something I'd never do in that case.

Is this sarcasm ?
BTW these games are way too expensive for how old they are.
FF6 came out in 94 and they are still selling it for 15 $. Classic Square Enix trying to squeeze every penny out of customers.

Playing on mobile is pretty much inevitable, as if we are away from the computer we will just give it a go. It's not bad, but surely that doesn't come even close to the computer gaming experience.

iPhones are actually quite powerful though. Assuming you had the money to buy (an iPhone), it is a better gaming platform than Android. Demanding games at least tend to run far better.
Why don't you like iOS ?

I definitely agree that iPhone is better for almost everything when comparing with android. The issue is that they are really expensive, so if we have something of the size of a 5S forget it, the screen is just too small.

That's a good point really because even if it's engaging to play on mobile (better than nothing logic), it's still a big distance from mobile and pc, so that does discourage many. Should FF developers release for phones even if the game experience is much different from the pc one?

They have already released many games on mobile platforms.
People are obviously buying and playing them, so it pays off for the developers. I wouldn't say the experience is much different if we're talking about older FF games like FF6, FF7 etc. Those were ported straight from the PC, so nothing was lost.
Newer FF games, however, are pretty much completely different games on mobile platforms like Android and iOS, so they are very much inferior to console/PC versions.
