Final Fantasy VII: first soldier

This game is multiplayer but it is not an RPG like Final Fantasy 11 and 16. It is more like a Battle Royale like Fortnite and PubG but set in Final Fantasy VII Universe. It doesn't have a story. You will just kill each other until only 1 survivor is left. Because its based from Final Fantasy, there will be no blood or gore. You can select the gender of your character. Most likely it is safer to play female because their bodies are smaller. They should make a slender and petite body type for men and Bigger built body type for women for equality sake. I think they decided to make this game so they can recycle the assets of remake.

I want to see actual Final Fantasy VII characters as playable characters. We only have custom characters base from the footages we are having.

Other than that I do love the way it's multiplayer, and I can battle my friends in a duo.
I seem to love the male character, he is so aggressive, but you are right the playable characters would come in handy.

We won't have Final Fantasy VII characters as playable characters but they might be something we can DIY with the character customization, We might get their hairstyle and outfit as skins.

We can actually ride chocobos in this game! That reminds me of the Metal Slug game where you can ride camels and ostriches during battle. Yes it is not an RPG but we need to expand the franchise outside the box so Square Enix can make money and the more money they made, the more Final Fantasy games we will get. Who knows this could fund remakes of the other beloved games.

I heard this is only for mobile. I hope there will be a PC port because I hate playing with a small screen. I want a PC or console version.

Another Battle Royale? I wish it will have some kind of story mode. I hate battle royales because people tends to be toxic.

The character in the trailer looks like Noctis. I think we can make custom characters that looks like the establish characters because their costumes will be part of the creation tool.

It looks way too serious though, If they want to get the Fortnite crowd, they need to be more fun and less serious because this game have no plot. So they should focus on gameplay and aesthetics.

Square Enix will have nothing to lose because this game just use recycle assets from remake. That is like making a new game for a fraction of a cost. I commend them for trying a cheap way to make money out of Final Fantasy VII remake because that game is expensive. They need to win back some of their loses and investment.
