Final Fantasy 16 announced!

Admin, I think it needs its own section! After having futuristic worlds with 10,12,13 and 15 and 7 remake. Final Fantasy is going back to it's medieval setting roots. The protagonist is male and he is more on the Manly side instead of a boyish Pretty boy like Cloud and Noctis. He reminds me of the main character of Dragon's dogma.


Though hoping for a female lead, A non pretty boy male character is refreshing. He looks like a man on his 30's instead of another teen.

This game looks so dark. The characters looks too serious. It doesn't have the whimsical Atmosphere Final Fantasy is known for. I am not being negative since this trailer does not reflect the final game. The game reminds me a bit of the Witcher. We need some chocobos to whip off some seriousness. This game looks so damn serious. Hope to see female party members because 15 deprived us of that.

Shiva is a villain? I will definitely turn on subtitles because I can't understand those British accents. Usually Final fantasy main characters have cool invented names but now we have something as generic as Joshua? It seemed like all the party members are men again. So it is going to be a Medieval version of XV.

After having a quiet handsome makeover in XV.
Ifrit is looking demonic again. I am more amazed by the fake trailers they released years ago. It didn't knock out my expectations. I hope they work on improving the game because the trailer looking bland compared to VII remake.

This reminds me a lot of Chaos Legion, Devil May Cry and Dragon's dogma. It also lacks Anime influences, This is the most westernized looking game in the series by far. They also betray Xbox players like me. Why is this a PC and Playstation exclusive. Final Fantasy has always been a multiplatform game. I don't like this! Sorry for being too bitter about this trailer. I am just disappointed.

A Nissin Cup Noodles endorsement will look silly in a medieval world. Product endorsement works in XV because its a modern setting. They better have no product placements on this game. It's set in a medieval world.

I love the trailer and I cannot wait to purchase it. I love that the main character is much older. The name Joshua isn't so intriguing but I love it. It looks so epic. It has also been a while since I have been active so it seems so nice to come back to such great news. I love the accent so much cause I really have to pay attention to what is being said.

It looks like a fucking movie. Can't believe Joshua has the power of the Phoenix. I saw a character summon a stony fist which is awesome.

I wish we can customize Joshua because he looks too generic!! We need alternate skins to make him look very rad.He looks like a typical white guy protagonist of most Western made games.

The women of this April Fool's Final Fantasy 16 trailer is much more better. They look cooler than Joshua the generic Elder Scrolls reject. How come this fake trailer of a non existent game Square Enix created to troll and prank fans looks better than what we are having. Medieval themed games usually have cool looking costumes but Joshua looks generic. He looks like an NPC.

It is Joshua and his Brother. I don't know what his brother looks like though. We might get no romance again because Brotherhood might be the theme again.

Is the young man with black hair the same as the older guy with raven hair? They kind of look the same and both seem to have the same tattoo and skill set. I can't wait to try out this game.

The Graphics is not 4k enough to be PS5 so I think this is multiplatform and will be available for PS5 and Xbox one. It is not really a Next gen game.

Joshua turns into Ifrit.... In Final Fantasy XV Ifrit is human looking. I wonder if they are the same person. Remember Shiva have a human form in Final Fantasy XV, She is the secret Identity of Gentiana. Joshua said he is hunting Shiva. Shiva and Ifrit are mostly a couple in most Final Fantasy games. I am sure you peeps know what I am saying. This might be the same universe as Final Fantasy XV. This is a prequel!

The game's main playable characters are Joshua, his little brother Clive and a girl named Jill. This might be like Final Fantasy X-2 where you only have 3 playable characters. Well at least it is not a sausage fest like XV. I wish we have a full party though instead of a trio but I guess with this modern graphics having a big party is hard to program. 7 remake is episodic for a reason.

Nah it is the right term for XV which did not performed well as expected that all DLC plans got cancelled. That term also stops game developers from excluding playable female characters.
