It is the only Final Fantasy announcement for E3. It is supposed to be an update for Final Fantasy 14. They will have a crossover event against Capcom's MMORPG Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter is very huge in Japan so this crossover makes SE hope to improve the player population of Final Fantasy 14. Imagine being able to fight the monsters from Monster Hunter. There is a possibility that costumes of popular Capcom characters will be available.

Finally, both fans of Final Fantasy XIV and Monster world get to experience each other's world. Although their is not enough details to how much the games are going to invade each other, I'm just excited that they finally decided to do it.

Hi. Finally we can have a solution on the players population. That's my greatest challenge. When is the release though?

Apart from the reveal trailer that Capcom and Square Enix released at the E3 conference announcing the crossover between Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy XIV, nothing else of importance was revealed. Although they did say the massive collaboration is set to launch sometime this summer.

This is a good collaboration between Final Fantasy 14 and Monster Hunter World, so it will be nice to slay some of these "Monster Hunter World" creatures in this game. It seem like Monster Hunter World is a very popular game as well, that sold a lot of copies !

I saw the trailer of this crossover released by Square Enix on YouTube and I must confess that it's an interesting improvement by the company to give Final Fantasy fans something wild to enjoy with getting to fight monsters in the game. I will be looking forward to enjoying this in every opportunity that I get.

I've been a fan of Monster Hunter since its Freedom Unite days. It's cool that Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter World will have a collaboration. I'm not familiar with Final Fantasy XIV's battle system but I hope it would blend well with the Monster Hunter series' monsters.

Since you have already been good at Monster Hunter during it's Unite Freedom days, I'm very sure that you will excel well in this particular game even though you are not very familiar with Final Fantasy XIV battle systems, they are almost going to be the same thing.

SE seems to be trying a lot of crossover. And they seem to be getting new users in the process. I guess that maybe a good business and the population gain strategy. I guess we will surely learn about this in near future.

The crossover is more or less a marketing strategy by Square Enix to get the fans of other games characters to pick interest in the game, which in turn boosts the company's sales chart in the market.

Seems to be happening more and more lately, and on the whole I would say that I enjoy it and it is a good idea. I have certainly seen some questionable ones along the way though.

When it's obvious that the new crossover marketing strategy is paying off with increased sales of the game, why wouldn't the company do more of it? It's only normal and business wise to maximize your profits when you have the opportunity to do so.

Capcom always love making crossovers. I mean they have done it with Marvel 6 times but that is fighting games. This time they did it with a RPG. A Square Enix vs Capcom Fighting game might be possible in the future.

It would be great to have a Square Enix vs Capcom Fighting game in no distant time. Imagine getting both of these blockbuster fighting action packed gaming franchise all in one, it's going to be incredible.

Yeah, having all those characters certainly raises the level higher and makes it far more appealing for any fan, and also for new players.

It look like crossover with Tekken characters is the most appealing deal that Square Enix is focused on at the moment with the latest crossover of Noctis appearing in Tekken 7.

Crossover is a trend now for Square Enix with other game franchise and it's paying off very well because the Final Fantasy game fans all are impressed with it. Personally, I enjoyed getting to play with lots of other characters featuring from other games.

It's a really clever move if you ask me. If there are fans from different games or shows and their characters mingle, guess what, new fans will come to Final Fantasy, so it's a great move.
