Final Fantasy 14 vs Final fantasy 15

This is the latest update of Final Fantasy 14. A crossover with Final Fantasy 15. I have a feeling this crossover is just SE's way of making use of the assets from the cancelled DLC's of 15 so they won't go into waste. This is like having lemon juice poured on my wounds. It is a very bitter sweet situation. Happy for a new update for 14 but sad because 15's dlcs are cancelled because of some incompetence on Square's parts.

So all the assets created for the dlcs will be used for this damn MMORPG. I am not an MMORPG guy, I am more of a single player JRPG guy. My heart is bleeding for this.

There rather go with this lazy route than finish those promised DLC. Well on the bright side the assets created for 15 will be put in good use. Now this makes me think if 15 is considered a failure because they didn't make sub sequels or expansions of it. The DLC is suppose to be expansion. Now 14 had outlived 15. It is such a shame but at least players of 14 can enjoy them.

Bittersweet! We have new content for 14 for the expense of the new content that is supposed to be for 15. I hope that FF16 will not suffer the same fate.
