There are a few things in this game I'm not very fond of, and one of them is the (english) voice acting. It often sounds fake/forced, or doesn't seem to fit the character. For example, Prompto's voice does fit his character, but sounds more than a bit overdone.... on the other hand you have Cindy, with her southern US accent and it doesn't really seem to fit. I like Prompto, but both him and Cindy are just grating on my ears. Gladiolus also managed to annoy me a couple of times, but these two are the worst.

A little bit to be honest, but it's not that big of a problem, some of them are good!

Yes it seems that way isn't it? It seems to be the case due to the 3D animation designed that looks fake unlike other games where the art is more realistic. Also FF 12 onwards this fake accent and acting is there and often makes you hate those 3D clips in between.

I agree with you that the voice is not well done. But for the sake of comprehending the game itself, it helps a lot.

I guess some of them are good/decent, but it really could have been done better. But then again I'm sure the often ridiculous dialogue and voice acting directing are also at fault here. Not even the best voice actor could do a good job if you give them bad lines and then make them act in an over the top manner.

Not sure what you meant here ?

Exactly. And some of them simply are no syncing with the characters which is a huge fault and I definitely think they should fix it.

I'm bothered too by how the voice sounds for each character. But that is the way it is. As long as I get the hints and message, I won't care much about the voice.

So you hate every characters voice acting ?
Personally, bad voice acting at best annoys me and at worst breaks immersion. Though only the old psx games and some eastern european dev games like STALKER tend to be so bad to cause the latter.

No I don't hate every character voice acting. I mean, they aren't like real people. It is normal for the acting voice to sound weird or forced. That's how it is :)

Yes it does. Actually sometimes it annoys me to the point that it was distracting with my gameplay. Nonetheless, I still understang that it was also exaggerated for the game to be more exciting.

Maybe it just depends, for me it is good enough and i think it is just the way the developer want it to be.

Yes, for a bit the voice acting got little awkward but when I'm in a game I don't mind about the voices. Maybe playing with it every day I already learn to love their voices. I'm more focus on the game so I'm not distracted at all. It's still Final Fantasy though so I already learn how to love their flaws I'm sure they're going to improve it next time. Please still support Final Fantasy.

Yes, sometimes especially when other people hear it , but it is not really a problem for me , the merefact that I am enjoying this game erases those little problems I have.

At first it sounds awkward but then i get hooked up in the game and the voices didn't matter anymore as long as I understand what they're saying. I guess for those who really grew up playing it, knowing every inch of the characters, it does matter.

I am one of those people who don't really find it that weird, but now that it's been mentioned, it will probably start bugging me every time I hear it! I'm crazy like that. Having said that, there is just too much right with the game that I won't let myself be upset about the little stuff. I do agree with Roses and Thorns that this will probably be more of an issue for those people who grew up playing the game rather than the noobs.

At first it is weird to get used to and it does feel a little forced, but it makes sense and it is something that you just get past. It has gotten smoother and better too as the games have gone on.

I think that the voices do not really fit the characters. I know that sounds kind of weird but they just seem out of place. I think they should have spent more money and bought higher quality voice actors. If you want to hear quality voice action play ESO and listen to their voice acting.
