Do some characters remind you of real people?

They could be regular people or celebrities. Anyway, I am speaking of the looks only. So how powerful is the resemblance? Is the real person aware they look like a game person?

I think FF 7 had a lot of characters who resembled some korean celebs. I remember seeing one character that looked like cloud. Noctis character too has some resemblance with south korean actor.

Somebody said on twitter that Woody Harrelson looks like a sad Snow Villiers in the Hunger Games 2012 Movie- but the height is a different story- I think Harrelson is 5'10" and Snow is 6'7",which is a slight difference (haha). What do you guys think ?

The FF characters who are Japanese, remind me of the many action movie actors from Japan and China. I associate them closely with people from the two countries, since it is where most of the martial arts originated from.

I think that Final Fantasy characters resemblance with human beings is only noticeable with Japanese, Korean and Chinese celebrities. This is actually the case because the game has an origin from such part of the world, so therefore it's normally for the game characters to look like them.

Wow, they look almost the same. It may be a coincidence but I sure as hell think that they are a perfect match. See the face, lips and nose, it all practically looks the same. It's only the front hair that looks different.

I think there is one thread on that too. And it seems to be gone viral news. So yes, some people are addicted to game and the characters to this extent. It seems like people do take things too seriously.

Yeah, there was a thread about the guy here on Final Fantasy forum. I even had to go search for him on Google just to be sure and it turned out to be true. People really surprise me with what they do in life.

The first time I saw Tidus, I knew he look like Meg Ryan before she destroyed her face with botox and lip fillers.

Tidus also kind of reminds me of Ellen Degeneres when she was much more younger.

He is one of the least manly male protagonist I had ever seen in my life. In Japan though that is their male standard of beauty. They love men who looks feminine. In fact in Japan, Gay men are body builders while straight men are pretty boys.
