We already know the advantage of playing video games to people, now, let's face the reality that in every good thing there are also bad things like in video games. We all know that playing video games can be addictive that many younger gamers are already victims on this, the students in specific.

The real danger of video games to young gamers is video game addiction. These days parents use video games as babysitters because they work long hard days at work and then they get home they don't want to deal with their kids.

And the kids sit there and play video games 8~10+ hrs a day and not only does it warp their mind but it makes them addicted to gaming and they can't function unless they are playing video games daily.

Too much video games to young gamer can harm them psychologically, or sometimes most of the young gamer got a failing grades in their exam because their focus is on the video games, they don't have time to study anymore that is why they got a failing grades. And just like I said, sometimes it can affect their psychological aspect, because some of them do what the skills they've learned in that video game, specially those brutal video games. So as a reminder the parents should guide their children, and still parents should give limit to their child in playing games.

Since children have less self control, they can easily get addicted to gaming. This notion is risky since instead of studying, they will spend the whole of their valuable time playing the games. It can really ruin their precious lives.

Parents should be responsible with their kids. They are the one should guide their children on what amount of time they can spend on playing video games. Kids are stubborn so parents must do proper guidance. They have to be strict when their kids are playing video games. They need to know that parents are still in charge and must obey them all the time. If they will guide their children properly they won't be addicted to the games because they know how to balance their social life, school and leisure time.

I agree that the addiction to game is probably the disadvantage for young gamers. Like this is mostly the reason why they don't want to go to school, wake up early and be active. And also, the violence in games which a young gamer must avoid as well, like they're too young see some actual killing.

The disadvantage of video games to young gamers is the distraction it brings to his/her study in school whether we can call this gamer a "high school" or a"college". Although i would like to make my explanation in general. The most persona that would likely has to have more disadvantage is young gamers than adults. Since adults, can control their time now that they are either working or just laying off from their houses.

You should show a lot of discipline when you bring your kids up and they start playing these video games-and I think they need to earn the right to play? They should complete their chores and homework before they get to play I think. Also the kid needs a outlet at the end of the day,and if you use these games in the right way-they may even be great for his brain overall -and just what the doctor ordered as well.

The disadvantage I've already experience in spending a lot of time in video games is:
It can damage our eyesight. Due to my addiction of playing video games, I spend like 3 to 6 hours of playing when I was a kid and it damages my eyes that I couldn't read signs in the road and cannot notice a person's face in distance.

Playing video games on young ages is not good always, there was the possibility of a mild stoke sometimes there was a clotting on the artery happens when they to much serious on playing games. Some children lost eyesight at a young age because of the addiction on games they exceed the maximum hours of playing games.Childrens focus to much or spend too much time on playing games so we adults or parents should be aware to the safety of our children "safety first".

The danger and disadvantages of playing video games to our young gamers is of having poor eyesight or sometimes totally loses their eyesight at the very young age. Moreover, because of excessive time playing on video games it may result negative cause to their studies and sometimes of negative social and emotional relations to the people around them particularly to their family.

I think there are lot of disadvantages such as addiction, social anxiety and anti social behavior. So we have to see that some of the time young gamers. Another thing to note is that young gamers take the gaming life seriously so it all depends on how we are seeing those things as well.

I agree. As a father of two, sometimes I find it hard to stop my kids from playing video games on their tablet and I was too tired and stressed that I just let them continue with playing. What I did is to limit their video game hours and also bought them board games and activity books to divert their attention and have something to do that can help improve their creativity.

I think there are lot of bad cases of internet addiction and the anxiety that comes from the internet usage. You can see that some of the times it'd be reasonable that way. I think gamers need to understand this stuff. And we have to give them benefit of the doubt. That being said, games do affect mindset and people have to wake up from that side effect.

the disadvantage of playing video games is causing damage to the person's eyes due to long exposure to the light which is not really good to our eyes. Another thing is the addiction that it give to the gamer's especially to the young ones. Some students fail to classes due to being addicted in playing video games. Some student didn't even bother to go to school just because of being addict to play video games. The physical and mental illness also can be considered since some people are playing video games above the minimum required time frame, some children didn't get much sleep just because of playing video games which is very harmful in our health.

With benefits come its disadvantages. For kids, addiction can start at such a young age because thats when parents believe their child to be old enough to play video games. Now as they're out doing groceries, their kids are staring at their tablet or laptop 6 hours a day and refuse to let go.
Another problem is that younger kids are prone to being influenced easily. If they have a favorite superhero or idol chanes are he will emulate them. Now imagine what happens if kids started to emulate the characters from say the GTA series or the Saints Row series.

The addiction is one major downside of playing video games to anyone and not just young gamers. As much as one tries not to get too hooked up with the game, it's never possible not to fall in deep with the game. I believe these games are meant to be addicted to once an individual starts playing it, and the only way to avoid getting addicted to the game is to not start playing in the first place.

There should be definitely a fixed time limit for which kid should be allowed to have access to playing video games. The extent of damage caused by over use of video games is much more than the fun element associated with them.

Studies have shown that prolonged exposure to the gaming screens can cause permanent brain damage. In addition to this, there are many psychological and behavioral changes that have been reported. Sadly, the incidence rate of this has been increasing all over these years.

I think too much of any thing is going to have impact on the body. And you can see that some of the times the gamers have their own set of the limitations. And we have to be really understanding about the same.
