Cut Content from Final Fantasy 15, What Happened?

In the early trailers, Noctis is seen brutally exterminating human beings, he snaps a guys neck in one section of the trailer and cuts another man with the visceral violence being shown in full view. Due to this reason, this game was in all likelihood going to get the M rating like Type 0 did.

Though, in the final part, Noctis mainly refrains from killing people and mostly kills demons and robots.

In addition, Insomnia was going to be an open sandbox area as seen in the “Reclaim your throne” trailer.

I have both played the final fantasy 15 to the end, but one sure thing I would have to comment on Noctis is that he is such a unique character that can act dual roles on the series and there is no need to assume that he was not programed to kill demons at the end part as well since this is all in a bid to make the game better and interesting for the players.

There is definitely a lot going on in Final Fantasy 15- and Kingsglaive is suppose to run parallel with the events of Final Fantasy 15, focusing on Regis Lucas Caelum CXIII- the father of the main character Noctis. They also have a movie out to promote the game- and it looks quite violent as well.

Another cut scene or interesting note is that Stella was supposed to meet with Noctis at the beginning of the game at a party, however the meeting was changed to be between Lunafreya and Ulrich.

I also noticed those when I rewatched the trailer. I don't think these fight scenes are possible to happen in the game because Noctis and friends only got the chance to return home after a long time. The trailer showed a young Noctis. They might have recorded the gameplay during the final testing stages of the game.

The Final Boss of that cancelled version I think is Stella, She was Noctis original love interest but she got scrapped and replace with Lunafreya who is more of an Ally than an adversary you have to kill.

Another intriguing note is that Stella was supposed to meet with Noctis at the start of the game at a party. However, that meeting changed to being between Lunafreya and Nyx Ulrich in the Kingsglaive movie.

I am guessing the part where he is shown killing people. It could be meant for some sort of tangent in the story. But due to rating they removed that part from the game. It'd be interesting to see their original perspective over this. I am assuming they had something else in mind. And they changed it to handle the game ratings.

I wish they will use the concept of lovers becoming enemies in a future game again with the boss fight ending with a tragic death. We had siblings and father and son kill each other on this series. Why can't we have lovers.

Well Lunafreya still died but not in the hands of Noctis. Also if Stella is not cancelled we will never have an awesome villain like Ardyn. The writers might have also had a hard time on why Noctis and Stella must kill each other.

I am happy with the final game we end up having but I am angry with the dlc cancelation

Yeah I don't mind them cutting content before release. What pisses me off is the dlc cancellation.

Look at the brightside, All of that cut content, benefited Final Fantasy 14.
