Bosses and EXP

A gamer has noted that you can defeat bosses on FF9, but no EXP is given. Well, obviously, he finds this quite annoying. So have you ran into this problem playing? Is it bothersome for you? Do you ignore it? Do you make up for the loss in other ways?

I never experienced such. Am sure that can be very annoying. Am not sure how one can make up for the loss sadly but am sure to check it up. Thank you for inquiring am sure it can really help others who experience such difficulties.
