Are we going to have a Final Fantasy XV-2

Here is the thing, FF-XIII is a very polarizing game but it managed to have 2 sequels. XIII-2 and Lightning returns. XV is also polarizing it has its fair share of fans and haters but it is more loved by more people. The cancellation of the DLCs really triggered many fans because a lot of us waited for it. Now that the dlcs are cancelled do you think XV will have sub sequels like IV, X,XII and XIII have? Those cancelled dlcs can be used as template for a sequel game that will continue XV's lore. Ever since we have Final Fantasy X, all sequels have a subsequel.

Maybe for ps5. This is the last 2 years of xbox one and ps4. I think video game companies are trying to save their games for the next generation of consoles. We are really deprived from those cancelled dlcs because we are going to wait for the next generation.

I have a feeling that the dlcs are cancelled because ps4 and xbox one cannot handle the needs of this game. They are waiting for next gen.

I can guarantee Final Fantasy 16 is going to be a next gen game. If there is a XV-II it is definitely a next gen game too. Square will spend the last 2 years for Kingdom Hearts.

They deprived us of those DLCs, so Maybe they can do an episode 2 even if Noctis passed away. I still cant move on from all those DLC cancellations.

Is Final Fantasy XV popular enough to be a trilogy like Final Fantasy 12 and 13?

At this moment it is an impossible dream because of the Drama between Square Enix and Nomura.

I would like to see one because we got an unfinished game because of some drama between Nomura and SE.

It will be impossible at this moment since they already canceled the DLCs and 15 is not as well receive as we thought it to be.
