Antagonists

Final Fantasy series has featured many antagonists, both minor and major, who serve as enemies to the player party. Kuja was one of my favourite.
He was a genome with a soul, he can be considered Zidane's older brother. As Garland's Angel of death, it is in his nature to cause war and chaos. Upon learning of his mortality, he resolves that if he can't live, no one can. Kuja is one of the most prolific antagonists in the whole of FF series. In terms of his own magical ability, Kuja had the power to destroy the world of Terra with his ultima spell. Even Kefka and Sephiroth weren't able to accomplish a feat like that.

I hated the fact that he was defeated and in briefly replaced by Necron- one of the lamest Villains in the series. Do you think he survived after he passed out on the tree after he shared some last tender words with Zidane? Do you think he has gone to hiding?

Kuja have no soul so death means deletion of existence for him. He did all those evil things because he wanted to stay alive.

Kuja belongs to Genome race and he had no soul. So it was kind of obvious that he was just running away from the death. I think he is not into hiding. And it's like he is practically done for. Though that makes you wonder if the last moments of him he did something to stay alive or find a way out of death. But I think he's dead.

Yes, Kuja has no soul, he is a Geonome and a angel of death- and is out to destroy the world of Gaia. Kuja is a artificial lifeform to host the soul of the people of Terra- another world that seeks to merge with Gaia.

Kuja definitely died unless they left it open just to bring him back. It wouldn't be a surprise at all cause SE has done crazier things before so I would not put it passed them.

Personally I took it that he passed out on that tree beside his brother, Zidane. Though at the last minute am sure he understood and accepted the meaning of life in that it isn't eternal. Still, it's a nice thought that Kuja would be able to live on in some capacity. I do hope that he is alive. He was such a great antagonist. I loved him.
