Too Much Hype for Final Fantasy 7 Remake?

The Final Fantasy VII is classified as an action game, according to Square Enix. Most of us were expecting something along the lines of an action RPG genre, but according to their recruitment notice posted earlier this month, they say it is an action game... and that's it. Just action.

But really, it doesn't matter what they call it. We know, at this point, that we aren't getting a faithful remake of the mechanics from the original game. The question is, what are we going to do about it? Let's temper our expectations a bit.
