Amongst the pantheon of Summons who have graced the Final Fantasy franchise, Ifrit is one of the most recognisable.

Often used as the de facto Summon to represent the Fire element, Ifrit and has graced many games with his classic Hellfire finisher and other fire-based moves. Throughout this video, we will explore, in chronological order, how things have changed since that first appearance in Final Fantasy III, to try and find some clues as to what we might see from Ifrit in Final Fantasy XVI.
