Welcome to part 8 of this Walkthrough of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Vaan, Balthier and Fran continue to follow the Judge and his guards as they head deeper into the dungeons. They soon realise that he has come to meet with Captain Basch, the Kingslayer. The two have an exchange, and once the Judge leaves Balthier and co approach the captain. Basch denies that he ever killed the King, and Vaan's brother, Reks, and implores them to release him. Vaan is furious that they are potentially freeing the killer of his brother, but Balthier believes that he is of more use to them alive and free, so Basch becomes an awkward addition to the party. The gang then encounters a merchant who sells both Gambits and Spells. This means a ton of time in the menus trying things out and starting to put together the pieces of how this whole system works.

For completionists, there are 2 channels I would recommend checking out as they are likely to have excellent guides, they may not be the biggest channels, but have been uploading quality content for many years. I will update this with a a playlist once they actually start uploading.
