After the positive response I got for the non-voice acted FF9, I had to continue to turn back the clock and dive further into Final Fantasy history. This game is very different from the FF that it precedes, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing what's in store

The story begins with an intense duel between two young men, and some cryptic visuals/text which may be an indication of things to come. When our hero Squall wakes up, he finds himself in the infirmary of a military-esque Academy, known as Balamb Garden. We meet some of his classmates and his teacher, Quistis. The pair must go on a mission to obtain a summon which is part of Squall's progression as a Cadet.
